SMD's Financial Boost for Olympian Neheng Kkatala

Storm Mountain Diamonds (SMD) this past Friday continued its commitment to provide financial assistance for top female marathoner Neheng Khatala in her bid to qualify for the Paris Olympics.

The Lesotho born Olympian and top athlete has received a sponsorship boost through SMD’s CIS to the tune of over M250,000.00. The sponsorship is aimed at assisting Neheng in meeting her training needs, attending preparatory marathons, and meeting her daily needs.

In a press conference held at Lancers Inn Hotel in Maseru, SMD committed to injecting more money to help Neheng in her continued successful performance.

The sponsorship award by SMD was graced by the newly sworn in Minister of Tourism, Sports, Arts, and Culture, Hon. Motlatsi Maqelepo, representatives from the Lesotho National Olympic Committee, Athletics Federation and Lesotho Sports and Recreation Commission, sponsorship recipient Neheng Khatala and other dignitaries and officials.
